This large fly gives its best in the months of April May when the large stone flies hatch in bulk. Despite this it is a dry hunting fly that gives excellent results even in the summer in mountain streams. This fly is an appetizing snack for the fish, fishing for hunting will be easily encouraged to eat it.

Stonefly is a hunting fly.

Built with very floating fly tying materials such as foam and suede, it will have the tendency to return to the surface even if it sinks due to insidious currents, the suede will give a feeling of movement on the surface of the water, simulating this fantastic plecopter that tries to get out of it after being fell by accident.

These are fly tying materials that I used for this dressing, below you can find the fly tying video.
